Blog post

It has been a long time since I’ve made a comic and written a post.

All has been going well on the autism and ADHD front, and I didn’t have much inspiration to draw or write about… until I read something about a teacher getting angry at a student with ADHD, and it brought back so many memories.

We’ve all been that kid, right? Staring outside, unable to take notes of what was being said because our eyes just wouldn’t focus on anything inside. Drawing little doodles rather than copying the notes on the blackboard. And depending on the day, we would either not have heard anything the teacher has said, or we’d be perfectly capable of repeating it word for word. Regardless of that outcome, the teacher would get mad at us for not giving them our undivided attention, not at all understanding that this is what “attention” looks like, for us.
